2019 Pre-registration numbers

As of March 12, all riders who completed a qualifying brevet of 200km and up have had a chance to pre-register for PBP 2019. Between the pre-registration dates for the 2018 BRM riders of 400 and 300km, the ACP was able to add additional spaces to PBP. It is difficult to know exactly how many spaces were added, and to which start groups, but the number now exceeds 7000 by a fair margin. There may be nearly 200 spaces remaining, all in the 80 and 84 hour groups.

The following data has been compiled by Mark Thomas, who again for this edition of PBP is working with the ACP to help troubleshoot registration problems for American entries. NB: these numbers are not official, and certainly subject to change as pre-registration completes and when pre-registrations are converted to final registrations.

The US currently has 577 pre-registrations (70 F, 507 M).
By time limit:
80 - 70 (5 F, 65 M)
90 - 400 (53 F, 347 M)
84 - 107 (12 F, 95 M)
